KYLE ROSS

MAINE

Kyle Ross (born 1997) is an artist whose analog black and white images tell the story of his brain being hijacked by the decaying woods behind his childhood house in New Hampshire. The pictures wreak of mildew and dead leaves, and examine implicit relationships with the environment. He holds a BFA from Maine College of Art in Portland, Maine, where he lives today. Kyle’s work has been published in the books Upstreams Deadfalls (Deadfall Press), Plant Petter (Emily Margarit Mason, Madeline Cass), Walking Research (Julie Poitras Santos), Primal Sight (Gnomic Book), and in 2020 he was a selectee for Vogue Italia’s Photo Vogue Festival portfolio review.
